Wedding Inspiration at Paradise Valley Country Club in Arizona
Paradise Valley is one of my favorite parts of Arizona for weddings. You get those incredible mountain views while still being close to Scottsdale and Phoenix, and Paradise Valley Country Club brings all of that scenery into one beautiful setting.
I photographed this styled shoot hosted by Not Your Average Content Day, and it was such a fun opportunity to photograph different wedding ideas throughout the property and show what a celebration here could look like.
And with the mountains surrounding us, we definitely weren’t short on backdrops.
Wedding Inspiration at Paradise Valley Country Club
One of the things I loved about this shoot was how many different looks we were able to create in one place.
There were multiple setups throughout the day, each with its own details, florals and tablescapes. It gave me the chance to photograph everything from the smaller details to the full setting and really play around with how each space could look through a camera.
That’s something I always pay attention to at a wedding venue.
Of course I want a beautiful place for portraits, but I also want variety. I want somewhere that gives us options for the little details, the two of you, your people and all of the moments happening throughout the day.
Paradise Valley Country Club gave us plenty to work with.
Those Paradise Valley Mountain Views
And then there are the mountains.
It’s hard to photograph anything in Paradise Valley without wanting to incorporate them somehow.
The mountain backdrop gives you that unmistakable Arizona scenery without everything needing to feel overly rustic or desert inspired. You can have beautiful florals, a polished tablescape and a more elevated wedding design while still having those Arizona views surrounding everything.
I love that combination.
It’s also one of the reasons Paradise Valley is such a beautiful place for couples planning an Arizona wedding, especially if you have guests traveling in from somewhere completely different.
They get to experience Arizona while you’re getting married in a setting that still feels polished and intentional.
Creating Something a Little Different
Because this was a styled shoot rather than a real wedding day, we had more time to experiment.
I could move around each setup, try different angles and photograph details in ways I might not always have time to explore during a wedding timeline. Days like this give me space to play creatively and take some of those ideas with me into future weddings.
I also got to spend the day alongside other Phoenix area photographers and wedding vendors, which is always fun. So much work goes into creating these setups, from the florals and tables to all of the smaller details that bring everything together.
The end result was a really beautiful look at what’s possible for a wedding at Paradise Valley Country Club.
And I’m pretty excited to finally share some of my favorites.
