Located in the heart of Phoenix, Antigua Garden is a wedding venue that offers a beautiful combination of historic architecture, outdoor garden spaces, and an indoor reception hall. For couples looking for a venue with character and the convenience of celebrating their entire wedding day in one location, this is definitely one to consider.
I recently had the opportunity to photograph a styled bridal shoot at Antigua Garden in collaboration with Brides for a Cause, a bridal boutique that supports nonprofit organizations through wedding dress sales. Alongside a talented team of creatives, we brought together a beautiful bridal concept while highlighting some of the venue’s unique spaces and architecture.
A Unique Wedding Venue in Central Phoenix
One of the things that makes Antigua Garden stand out is its location. Situated in Midtown Phoenix, just minutes from Downtown Phoenix, the venue offers a private garden atmosphere without having to travel far outside the city.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies at Antigua Garden
The outdoor courtyard is one of the highlights of Antigua Garden. Surrounded by greenery, architectural details, and a charming garden setting, it’s a beautiful option for couples who want an outdoor ceremony in Phoenix.
The courtyard also provides opportunities for wedding portraits, family photos, and candid moments throughout the day. Having these spaces within the same property makes it convenient for couples who would rather spend more time celebrating with their guests than traveling between locations.
An Indoor Reception Space for Celebrating
Beyond the courtyard, Antigua Garden features an indoor reception hall that can accommodate up to 220 guests.
The reception space includes a dance floor and room for dining, entertainment, and all the celebrations that come with a wedding. Whether you’re planning a traditional wedding or a larger cultural celebration with plenty of family, music, and dancing, having both indoor and outdoor spaces gives couples flexibility when planning their day.
Another advantage is the ability to host both the ceremony and reception at the same venue, making the transition between events easier for everyone.
Wedding Photography at Antigua Garden in Phoenix
From a photography perspective, venues with a variety of settings offer opportunities to document different parts of a wedding day without needing to leave the property.
At Antigua Garden, the outdoor courtyard, greenery, and historic architectural details create beautiful backgrounds for portraits, while the reception hall provides a separate atmosphere for the evening celebrations.
As a Phoenix wedding photographer, I always encourage couples to choose a venue that fits how they want to experience their wedding day. Having everything in one location can allow more time for family, friends, and enjoying the celebration without feeling rushed from one place to another.
